Jeff Morgan received his PhD in Moral Theology from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 and held postdoctoral positions at Notre Dame and Villanova University before coming to Saint Joseph鈥檚 College in 2019.
Dr. Morgan teaches and writes about the history of Christian thought, fundamental moral theology, and applied ethics. His recent courses include: Introduction to the Judeo Christian Tradition; Food Ethics; and Theology and the Environment.
His scholarly work has appeared in the Journal of Religious Ethics, the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics, Studies in Christian Ethics, and the Heythrop Journal. His book on conscience in modern theology, The Single Individual and the Searcher of Hearts, was published with T&T Clark in 2020.
