How do I become licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in my state?

Most states require state licensure in order to work as a radiologic technologist, and聽.

Many, but not all, states use exam scores from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or ARRT credentials to make licensing decisions. Some states also ask the ARRT to administer exams for state licensing purposes. It is generally in your best interest to pursue credentials through the ARRT as well as pursuing state licensure, as it helps you stand out in the radiology profession. What are the educational requirements for state licensure in radiology?
